| Audience |
Project managers wishing to upgrade from a PRINCE2 Foundation
Certificate to the Practitioner level after a period of further project
management experience. |
Objective |
To cover the practical application of the PRINCE2 methodology
in real world scenarios. The Practitioner Examination will be taken
on the afternoon of Day 2. |
Topics |
Applying PRINCE2 concepts and controls to various project
scenarios.
It is assumed delegates have achieved Foundation certification before
attending this course and therefore be familiar with the PRINCE2 processes,
components and techniques. The two day course focuses on the application
of these concepts using a course Case Study and APMG retired exam
papers. There is a half day dedicated to the Product Based Planning
technique and the Practitioner exam takes place at the end of the
last day. Where attendees have not been participants on an Adaptive
Frameworks course there will be some pre-course work around the Case
Study and revisiting the PRINCE2 processes, components and techniques
so that the delegate is up to speed with the Practitioner class as
they commence application of concepts through exam questions and preparation
on the two days. |
Duration |
2 days from 9.00am till approximately 5.00pm. Delegates
will also need to allow some time each evening for further study.
A preliminary recap session may also be required.

It is expected that delegates will have a copy of Managing Successful
Projects with PRINCE2 published by the OGC. Copies can be purchased
for $135 (delegate price) if required. |
