Managing Successful Programmes 2011 Refresh

29 August 2011: MSP® 2011 - The refresh of Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) is complete and the new guide will be launched on 30 August 2011.
This is an interim revision NOT a major refresh and does not change either the structure or the approach of MSP. The new guidance adds clarity and further value for delivering transformational change through programmes.

Key changes include:

  • Governance Theme “processes” have now been renamed “cycles”
  • Improvements to the Benefits chapter that cover practical guidance on techniques and clearer integration with other areas of the guidance
  • Improvements to Quality Management to cover Assurance
  • Alignment of the Risk and Issue Management chapter  to the Management of Risk guidance
  • Addition of sections in each Governance Theme chapter that discuss how that Theme relates the Transformation Flow
  • Improved guidance and ambiguities for key roles
  • Improved consistency with other best practice products PRINCE2, MoR, P3O

Adaptive Frameworks will be providing FREE refresh sessions to their clients in January 2012 and revised MSP course formats will commence before the end of 2011. Please keep an eye on the website for the new schedule and further information.
