About Change Management

Change Management comprises the processes, tools and techniques used to manage the people aspect of change processes to achieve outcomes, and realise the change. To be effective this must be addressed within individuals, teams and entire organisations. There is a growing body of knowledge about issues inherent in managing change and how to avoid problems. This has considerable overlap with the psychology of teams and individuals in project environments.

The Change Management accreditation was developed and introduced in 2006 with the official text, 'Making Sense of Change Management' by Cameron and Green.

The accreditation and certification for Change Management is managed by the APM Group, based in the UK.
